I was also wondering the same thing. However, I do know that the ammo is just the ordinary ammo (red), black is for the special ammo stickers. So both sides can use the ammo.↧

On the kickstarter page it says 28 pieces per side for Fortress war and 21 pieces for each side in the Builders bounty. I'm not sure what blocks are from each set as I just threw them all into the box together. But yes, the castle image displayed at the top of page 2, looks like it has 16 of those bricks, but 28 bricks in total. Maybe they changed one of the bricks, as the totals add up.EDIT: Just went and counted the bricks on the similar looking castle example on the Kickstarter page (in the Fortress war pic) and there is only 15 of those bricks.

I don't know that's it's "say no to alkaline," more just don't leave them in when not in use.
Hence the place to store the batteries instead of leaving them in the tower. 😊

It's definitely my most played game (by far) of the past few years. I think it needs one of the expansions to really sing, but I enjoy having more complexity in my co-ops. The base game is really fun for quite a few plays, but I always add in one of the expansions now. We switch back and forth between Alliances and Covenant, as they are both fun and add very different elements to the base game.↧

That's correct. It's an error in the image that we caught too late to make a change without having to delay production, which we decided wasn't worth it. Each faction gets 15 basic bricks and 13 specialty bricks as indicated on the component list. Sorry for the confusion.

I am on the fence too on this one... more than 1 year thinking to buy or not... what kills it for me is the extensive use of the app to resolve combats... If there were some other card/dice/etc. system I would buy it now...

Been working fine for multiple games. Have you had issues?
Alkaline batteries will eventually leak and corrode components, esp if left in a device that is not used for a long time. Could take years, or you could be lucky, etc. I lost a Nikon SB800 flash and a few kids’ toys to Duracell + Energiser batteries. I now always remove them from expensive hardware that doesn’t see regular use (such as polystone statues with light-up features).
Yes - if this happens, you can always try cleaning the corrosion with vinegar using an old toothbrush. I rescued my Canon flash with this very move. Doesn't always work, but worth a shot to try to save your electronics.

While other might not agree with you on this game needing a single player option, you are right we don't have a say on what you wise.
Perhaps YOU are the one to come up with the game mode that others will swarm to?

I thought those compartments were for storing the doors?I suppose many players simply leave the doors on the tower for storage. But without having the game handy, I believe I remember seeing somewhere that the original intent is to remove the doors for storage. And as such, aren't those compartments for that purpose?
Though for the record, I like them better for storing the batteries.

I never even noticed these spots! The doors do fit in those spots quite nicely... but it won't fit all of them, so I guess they thought in case you were mid game and wanted to store the tower as is?
Putting the batteries there is perfect! I actually had them sticking out of the top of the tower lol
Thanks for posting this!!!

I salute you for how comprehensive the list is, but after more than two years and 5279 votes, I think having so many options diluted the responses to the point of unusability -- only three of the IPs have more than 1% of the vote (Aliens, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars) and none have more than 2%.
