Assuming you do get a 3rd roll (2nd reroll) here is a chart of hitting in such cases:

target size initial shot | 1 reroll | 2 rerollls
small 33% | 55% | 70%
medium 50% | 75% | 88%
large 66% | 88% | 96%

No there is not. When I started that sheet, I turned off gathering login data of people logging their plays, mainly to not have to think about privacy protection laws and also not be a source for spammers. Unfortunately, that means you cannot review nor edit your submitted plays. I know other similar lists allow that but I currently don’t have time to implement such a feature, sorry.

Thanks for the answer 🙂 Actually I should have asked in a general way, in case someone already have a similar excel file/Google sheet for tracking their game.

Anyway, amazing work with your document! It's really cool to see all those stats and the thousands of games people played over the years!

I had a productive weekend. I filtered all the cards i would bring into 5p. I am not including zombies or titans in this expansion so that it focuses on eggs, 2 new decks and a rewrite of all cards. Players draw 1 Mayhem to start their turn. Its chaos with range of outcome: 1p good/ all good, 1p bad/all bad. 4 Territories in the game start with a relic token, you gain a relic card for each territory you own holding a relic token. if you lose the territory, you lose the linked relic card (usually a passive reward but all relic cards are free). Adv Tech cards are claimed either as part of a commander purchase, a passive reward card, or if you roll all matching dice in combat. Adv Tech cards are all related to combat, have attack or defense abilities. Relic cards are all "Pre action" cards that do not effect combat: they give objects, units, discounts etc.
Here's what I've proposed for the community decks:
Mayhem - https://mega.nz/folder/2SwQwSZQ#WKqQ6a-0j2kEmzyvvMMrFQ
ADvTech - [placeholder]
Relic - https://mega.nz/folder/GaoyCa6D#swURUif8iAO1woLMCNnG-g

If you see any typos let me know. I'm trying to maintain consistent writing but there's always room for improvement. Comments welcome.

I picked up a copy of the new printing that just hit stores in the USA (shows copyright “2023-2024” on the back). Has this printing been revised to incorporate the official errata?

By the way, I've just noticed that the lost episode 8 is now called "The Towering Inferno". They change the name since you've created the line in your sheet.

Most, if not all, of the Elder Gods say "When the Elder God advances YOU.." and then something bad happens to you. For example, if it's Hastur, it says You get a yellow sign token. Is You only referring to the player who's turn it was when the Elder God Advanced? Or referring to all players.

The rulebook is actually pretty clear on this. Anytime the game refers to "you" it's referring to the player whose turn it currently is. Wether it's a search card or a mythic card, whatever.

So at the end of YOUR turn, you draw a mythos and resolve it for YOU. Make sense?

Thank you!!!
Also, personally I track my games using bgstat, a really great app that allows all kinds of reports - and yes it is a pain to report everything twice.

How is this going for everyone? I placed an order on March 27th. Game + shipping + tax brought the total to a little less than $54. I had a charge for $14.95 on my card on April 29 and have another $14.95 charge pending for this week. I've never used this website before placing this preorder. Makes no sense. I intend to call them tomorrow.

The full combat breakdown is on page 13 of the Core Rules that are included in every set from Tales to Amaze on (Sun's Origin, Slings & Arrows).

Abilities that happen after attacking or defending happen in the "Additional Effects" window. So an "End the turn" effect that happens in After Combat will skip the Additional Effects window, this includes both Wayward Sisters' spell casting and Shakespeare's adding the combat card to his line. The Sisters still get their card to their cauldron because that is a static effect that happens instead of discarding no matter what.

Ok thank you for the actual rule page. That helps me clarify it to the people I’m playing against.

Rae and I had a lovely dinner Saturday night, I finally cashed in a gift voucher for one of my favourite restaurants - the Chairman & Yip. You never know what you are going to get until you arrive, each dish is a carefully-balanced artistry of flavour. I love it.

treasure trove

I played Final Girl for the second time this week - same girl, same setting and same baddie. I decided to follow through on my inspiration for better card management, making sure there wasn’t too much discrepancy between hand size each turn. It made a huge difference.

I still didn’t think I had much of a chance, though there were some spectacular rescues at the beginning, including my sister. After getting her to safety I tried a few pot shots at Geppetto with success, rescued a few more gormless victims that kept wanting to walk *towards* the traps and puppets, and in a final retaliation I took the last of Geppetto’s life points…only to discover he came back to life and delivered the death blow. I died.

It was so easy to drop into the theme and tell the story of my hero, a misspent youth watching this genre certainly fueled the imagination, and I Can’t watch this style of film anymore, but I felt the experience was vicarious enough that I could appreciate the trip down amnesia lane.

no second chance for me

On Friday night we returned to Pandemic Legacy Season 0. I can avoid spoilers by saying it was a total shit-show, we couldn’t pin down our coordinated efforts fast enough and the incidents just ran away from us. Boo! I guess we will be playing February again!

Next was World’s Fair 1893. I used to own this, played with Sos and Fee once and it didn’t seem to make a splash so I sold it. Seems I was wrong, and Sos picked it up again at Cancon this year. It’s a nice little puzzle of playing for area majorities in different colours, but needing to collect sets of coloured cards that are spread around the board. These two objectives are often at odds.

You can also collect special powers that effectively let you have multiple turns, but they must be played the turn after you collect them. I had a very middling middle round that left me with far too many coloured cards and too few majorities. It’s a fun and quick area-majority game that reminds a lot of Animal Kingdoms.

fabulous modular board

:nostar:

Lastly we played Akropolis, and whatever spica I had with this game in our first few plays completely deserted me this time around. I could barely get off the first level, yet when I looked up after the first ‘round’ Sos was already building his third tier.

flatland for me

I didn’t feel at all switched on this Friday. I was very much a ‘plus one’ to the games, like an automa that ‘gets in the way’ of the other players’ decision-making, but I appreciated the company and the laughs. It made me pause however - is it still fun for your opponents if you are not competitive?

:nostar:

Origami

I fold pretty regularly during the week, sometimes while I’m watching a show. I enjoy the process. More often than not I use regular origami paper as it is plentiful, but I rarely lends itself to producing a ‘keeper’. The sheets aren’t big enough for complex models, the colours are too plain and the folds start spreading very quickly.

However these ‘doodles’ often stick around on the gaming table for a week or so until I get sick of the clutter and bin the lot. Here’s last week’s mixed bag of designs - Nishikawa’s cat, another kiwi design, some old-school dinosaur designs, a phantasm, a crazy mouse design unlike any I’ve seen before and a butterfly ball.

I can only imagine there are 18 cards per player, the shooting die has six faces so that the cards have the same distribution frequency and represent the shooting die faces 3 times each.
It shouldn’t matter which shooting symbol goes on what card so one could mix them up or put all three “S" shooting die faces on the “one” cards, the three “Any” on the 6 cards etc etc

I could do that, but I guess I would just prefer to have as close to an "authentic" deck as I can haha

To keep the eliminated player involved. I suggest allowing them a percentage chance to use their helicopter once per round. Allow them to get revenge. This could be a generous or narrow as possible. Either allowing it to be guarenteed or a 1/6. Just keeps them engaged - allows a little revenge.

From the Max Chrome rulebook, p.8:

CAR STATUS

OPERABLE
Cars with no damage tokens or one damage token are operable.

INOPERABLE
After a car receives and resolves its second damage token, it becomes inoperable.
Turn the car to face backward on the road tile, and flip that car’s dashboard over.
(An inoperable car can become operable again using the Repair command. See Repair, page 12.)

An inoperable car cannot take additional damage. If it would, ignore it (no tile is drawn).
An inoperable car cannot be assigned movement dice or shoot. It can still be affected by the FX
dice, such as being slammed.

ELIMINATED
Being eliminated is different than taking damage or becoming inoperable. If a car is eliminated, it is removed
from the game and cannot be repaired. Shuffle that car’s damage tokens back into the damage token pile, and
return that car’s dashboard to the box.

A car is eliminated if it:
µ Enters an impassable space
µ Ends a turn in the same space as any chopper (even your own)
µ Is on a rear road tile when that tile is removed from play
µ Leaves the board from the left, right, or rear edge (from damage or being slammed)
µ Encounters an effect that directly eliminates it

If ALL of a player’s cars are either inoperable or eliminated, that player is out of the game.
The lead road tile is now the final tile. Immediately add the finish line (see page 15).
