401games.ca in Canada had a bunch. Not sure if they've completely sold out or not.

Yeah, they're all gone.

While I'm glad I backed the campaign and got everything (including the art book), I could have saved a bundle if I'd just picked up the KS package from 401 games (although minus the art book).

This is yet another nail in the coffin for KS campaigns for me. For future major KS campaigns, unless I desperately want to guarantee myself a copy, I'd rather just wait for the fulfillment date and gamble on getting a copy of the KS package, complete with KS exclusives, from 401 games for much less (and free shipping).

Harrumph.

Is there a limit to how many times you can active this during a turn?

I guess 13?

Just remember that you can only rest if there are no enemies in your space.

Very important point

1. It doesn't sound like it.
2. You were particularly lucky, but it's not astronomically low chances.
3. If you want! I'd play one more game, perhaps not "official," with you trying that strategy and your opponent(s) trying to stop you, and see how it goes. If it's a stomp again, then house rule it.

I tried to solve this same problem yesterday. I managed to get it down to two boxes with all heroes and only the single GOO and episode that I was facing.

How did you manage this?

I made some preliminary tests today. I had a 295x295x35mm 54 slot foamtray* and 300x300x50mm pick and pluck trays** waiting for me to get off my ass.

After filling the 54 slot tray with S1 and Unspeakable, there were 21 22 (with Scarlett) normal models left over (all but 1 from S2 + Dagon's and Hastur's monsters). It did fit a Migo, but not anything that was even slightly bigger.

I started guesstimating if the monsters would fit the pick&pluck and gave up halfway on S1, since they seem take so much space!

If you can live with a little lift, you can fit 2 54 slot trays and a pick & pluck in S2 box. I only now realized that the core box is a little deeper, so that would be much better place for the figures. I guess I have to try again...
I'm thinking (if space and time permits) 300x300x60 + 54 slot 35mm tray and something withing the 35mm depth. The core box is around 115mm, so that would lift the box ~1,5cm.

-edit- I think they did a pretty good job with the inserts. I'm not fan of how much stuff you have to move to get other stuff and how many boxes within boxes there are, but the original inserts provide a nice combination of protection and order.

What did you receive?
I went the MM route and used my reward points for a discount. Decided Unspeakable would also be unobtainable. I was eyeing an eBay auction in California (I'm in the bay area and am trying to get the game in time for my winter break) that had the exclusive content, but the $ total plus tax was too rich for me.

Hi all,

This will sound basic but it came up on our first run:
- monsters or cultists spawned by a mythos card on an investigator location get to attack him right away in the coming phase 3, correct?

- if there's no instruction otherwise, and if there are more investigators on that location that monster or cultist will attack only the one that draw the card or both?

- can sister Beth's high strung be used to void one roll for fire as a success or it is considered an attack (although it says any)? Or is there no predication for this to be valid and roll for fire is always one black dice per token never to benefit from bonus?

Thks!

Yes

They will attack the Investigator whose turn it is.

Thks!

High Strung just means that one tentacle icon counts as one Sanity damage AND one success. It does not void the Sanity loss.

Yep! If they spawn in the mythos card flip then they are available to attack in the investigate/attack phase.

Monsters/Cultists/Elder Ones will always only attack the player who's turn it is (some other effects may say to target all investigators)

I can't recall the wording on Sister Beth's card so someone else may need to chime in on this one!

My question is this:
Did I have to discard the mythos card after the trigger at the red mark?
Because the card say "Keep the last Mythos card any player drew (with no Summoning symbols) near this card, until they're shuffled".

1) Yes
2) They attack only the active Investigator
3) If you roll for Fire tokens on your Investigator, you always roll 1 Black die for each token on your sheet. If Sister Beth rolls a Tentacle, she can count it as 1 Success and 1 Tentacle...suffering 1 Wound and 1 Sanity loss :D Her ability doesn't void Tentacles.

Using rules questions in BGG forums isn't a great barometer for rulebook quality. It feels like half the time or more it's someone reading beyond the clear instructions in an effort to interpret a rule in such a way that benefits them or fits their vision of what the rule "should be" rather than what it is.

Oh my god, this. I almost didn't buy a certain game because of the supposed lack in quality in the rule book being talked about 'round here. Then I actually read the rule book. Now I am pretty sure this statistic that 80% of people are functionally illiterate you keep hearing about is absolutely true.

Hi, I've held off on getting the brokentoken crate because it doesn't provide enough space for Spider Springs and/or future expansions.

So before I invest in a storage solution, I want to confirm the game is "complete". Can someone please chime in if more expansions are planned?

What do you get that can’t be found in retail? Is it only the Unspeakable box and the Scarlett promo?

See Will there be more expansions? thread from 2 months ago with a reply from Restoration Games co-founder. Basically the answer is maybe one more small expaions.

This is a good estimation of our current plans. The game continues to sell well, but I'm not sure there's demand for still more plastic trays. If we do another expansion, I'd expect something on the smaller side along the lines of Crouching Tiger or Last Adventurer.

Yeah. If CDMD is as good as I'm reading and hearing, there's enough soloable content for me in the base game and expansion(basing that perspective on my plays this year of Zombicide: Black Plague and Wolfsburg expansion), but I'm caught up in the moment and want, but don't need it all.

Cool, exactly what I needed. Was just wondering if I could store them separately, but not really without separating after every game!
