I'll definitely be printing this out. Widow's Walk is one of those rare expansions that has actually made me MORE reluctant to play the game -- I'm shocked at how many scenarios hit press with what seems to have been no playtesting or oversight. If this helps to redeem it, I will shower you with (geek)gold.

I'm printing this out myself. Thank you for your work and effort.

I love WW and have told people curious about getting it that they should, even if it's just to add the new cards and tiles to the game. iv'e had about 50/50 luck with my WW haunts so far but the bad ones have been...bad. like, the creator had no idea about the basic rules of the game...bad.

but that's ok. i can work around it and have found them creative no matter what.

Thanks! I didn't know there was a Pandemic Legacy playlist, but I'll be sure to give that a listen. Immersion all the way!

It's a bit of a moot point now, but I am curious - if the bleak journal requires someone to be judged by the Helm (and the next line tells you the Haunt) and takes enough damage to die, do they just go to critical since it's technically before the Haunt or do they just die?

My group treated the judging as part of the haunt setup so that player sat out of the haunt entirely. We did think it was odd to be allowed to have it happen (though in base betrayal there were several haunts that could kill players during the setup).

Add “REACTION: a hero or traitor ability that is triggered whenever a condition is true, regardless of who’s turn it is.”

In “ACTION”, “Each turn...” should be “On a hero’s turn...” Examples are also helpful “Common actions are ATTACK, DRINK, PREPARE”

Quick Note:
It seems like Haunt 93: Owl's Moving Castle is not playable at all. Wow, that's the most problematic Haunt I've ever saw. It will take some time to fix it.

No.

[o]there might be an ongoing event that is too powerful though.[/o]

Or roll with it:

... because that baby was the spawn of Beelzebub whose plan to unite Hell and Earth would have been ruined by this upstart demon.

If I attack someone else does that end my movement? or can I move again after the attack if I have left over movement?

There are events and tile actions that will end your movement, but generally you are allowed to use your movement points in any order you wish.
There is a section in the rule book about player's turn.

You can't die during this step. The rule about the helm can't kill you with its judgment somehow fell out of the rulebook.

We never encountered that third scenario in Season Two. Not even close. We wondered why they even bothered including the rule; maybe for old times' sake?

I'm playing and we had one outbreak in April (or was it first half of May?). We only lost once so far but had one exceptional bad streak that one game.

Wouldn't "On an explorer's turn..." be a better word choice? You're excluding the traitor, otherwise. Though frankly I think the "Each turn" phrasing works fine.

Generally your movement only ends when you draw a card for any reason. Some additional things may cause you to lose your remaining movement, but they will explicitly say so.

Attacking does not cause you to end your movement for the turn, so if your speed is, say, 4 at the start of your turn, you are allowed to move two spaces, attack an enemy, and then move again afterward (keeping in mind that it costs an additional movement for each small enemy or two for each large enemy that you try to move past).

The similarity of some haunts is because of the highlighted Omen. For example, you always get a [o]doll: but you could get the blood-drinking doll that grows to massive size haunt OR the army of dolls that mob and destroy you haunt. They both work very differently.[/o]

Question about the setup for Chapter 10:

[o][o]Are we meant to assume that the Basement Landing is no longer adjacent to the Ground Floor Staircase? It's implied through flavor text and new artwork, but unless I've missed something the rules on page 8 are quite clear and remain unchanged. Seems like the chapter's Legacy card is missing a line that says the two tiles are no longer considered adjacent.

Or am I lending too much importance to the flavor text?

I'm almost certain they are no longer considered adjacent. Otherwise their wouldn't be a point to covering the basement stairs.

This sticker makes the game after the campaign like the original Betrayal, where the basement is not accessible at the beginning of the game. [/o][/q[/o]]

This has been confirmed by Rob D on another thread.
