My box is very strong, I don't see how anyone can say otherwise, I don't care for the bend but that's the only negative I can say about it.↧

The selfie stick card is ambiguously worded. Does it mean that every snapshot card is worth 2 points extra, or that the group of snapshots is worth 2 points extra? In the former, six 5-point cards would be worth 42 points. In the latter, six 5-point cards would worth 32 points.↧

On the first play with the Crimson Cutlass, we had 1 of 3 cannonballs go off the board while the others knocked down an opponent. Does the Ember rule that says this knock down is disregarded and the player loses a treasure apply to cannonballs? Cannonballs seem to mirror Embers in all other ways.↧

As god as my witness, I thought Fireball Island would level out!

If I use the boulder or tiger and someone is knocked down on the other side of the board from the vibrations do I get extra treasures? If so, what if this also activates embers or snakes?↧

When a Fireball or Ember rolls and hits a player piece, even pushing him or her several spaces, but does not knock it down (still standing on base,) and is touching the player piece when it stops, this does not count as knocked down? I’m pretty sure I didn’t play this way in 1986. :-)↧

"Not-linen printed heavy chipboard" apparently translates to "Garbage." My box is absolutely fine.

Technically yes. If your setup is particularly precarious, you can house rule out the tremor rule. (Or if you have someone who is intentionally playing rough.)

You cannot get 6 snapshots, only 1 per color is allowed. We assumed it was 2 per snapshot, max 6 extra points in the base game or 8 extra points with the expansion that adds the fourth color of snapshot.Rules state:
If you start on or enter a snapshot space, you may take the matching snapshot card unless:
*You already have a snapshot of that color.
*All snapshot cards from that space have been taken by other players.
*Another player is in the snapshot space

The difference is that ember marbles are flicked. Cannonballs aren’t. The Crimson Cutlass board does have ember marbles too.

One of my snake dimples is so slight, it is impossible for the marble to stay there. I too am interested in how to fix this. My initial idea is to poke a hole in the board, but hopefully there is a less damaging solution.↧

Thanks for the reply! Some edges cases could make this feel counterintuitive but I dunno if I will house rules it yet.↧

Sorry, I should have stated I was playing with the two player rules which indicate that you need to have two of each color snapshot and snapshots are shared between two characters. In any case, I still would like to know how many extra points the selfie stick gives you at game end.

I know a player getting to the helipad with all three pictures triggers the return of the copter and each player gets two turns. My question is, does the turn when they get to the helipad count as one of those turns?
Basically, does the player triggering the end game get two more turns after returning to the copter or one?

I haven't started playing yet (still assembling sacrifices...I mean players), but I could help but take a peak at the rulebook. Good thing I did because I see two points of vagueness that I'd like clarified.1) (p12) Once per game, when drawing a card with a space for an heirloom sticker, you may make it an heirloom to get a bonus for your family. If another family draws in it in a later game can they put an heirloom sticker over yours in the spot. Thematically, I can see this going either way.
2) (p20) Monsters act as obstacles. It doesn't specifically say that monsters (or the traitor) ignore other monsters for the sake of obstacles. I assume that this is the case, but wanted to ask first.
Thanks!

The latter. The player who triggers the endgame gets the last turn of the game (unless everyone has gotten to the Hello-Copter).

Not an official ruling but the way I read the rules, if you don't immediately hop onto the Hello-copter after it is summoned, you should get two more full turns. That would make you the last player to have a chance to enter the copter before it takes off.↧

Two for each different colored snapshot.
