Thank you both very much!

I think I read part of the card, put the sticker on, and then got sidetracked. (We have a baby, so it happens.) Then I must have lost the card.

Thanks!

In Pandemic it is always very hard with the "what would have happened".

Since you are confident you could have accessed it, as a mid ground compromise, I would take the win, but still, have to do the actions to access it next game?

Always really hard to tell what to do in these situations :)

El Sonidito (We usually listen to Mexicana music during our sessions and this was a hilarious song that came on when we were playing the prologue)
Funky Town
Party City

This is a good middle ground. The only real downside is that it will cost us an entire turn to get there and we all know how important every action is, let alone an entire turn! In that case, I take it as enough of a penalty and see no need to adjust my funding downward.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

I know that very well, but the text post mentions June. I'll err on the safer side

I'm sorry but if you click on a thread that says spoilers and doesn't give a month, you're the one at fault if you find spoilers you didn't want to see. The only think that OP loses by not putting June spoilers in the title, is that people who have only played up to June won't come in a weigh in on the topic, but that's fine, and its OP's loss (if anyone's).

Since it was a rules mistake, your group should decide if whether or not you would have won had you interpreted the objective correctly. If yes, then keep going, no harm no foul.

If you can't say the above, then I would [o] ... not open the package until you actually access the haven [/o]

Finally ... rules mistakes are part of the game, particularly in legacy games where some things cannot be undone. Simply say "oops" it was accidental and move on with no penalty.

I spoke to my group and they all want to retroactively [o] access the haven. [/o]

Are there any immediate effects that would make it impossible to do pre-game? Feel free to spoil the effect for me. I'm more interested in a fun gaming experience for the group than my own spoiler-proof existence. They're not hardcore gamers, so fun comes first as long as it's within reason.

Doing it pregame will make the next game easier than not doing it pregame.

[o]You've got to be pretty close to it to find it anyway, so accessing it is generally pretty easy after that.[/o]

I would do it during Step 2 of setup (almost like there is an extra legacy card that says name the haven and then open box 6).

There's one immediate effect that you can just ignore, as long as you open the box before starting setup. To be specific and spoilery:

[o]Box 6 contains 15 more supply cubes. The game you access the haven, they go in the Stockpile immediately. In future games, they're added to the cubes you place during the Supply the Grid step.[/o]

I apparently misplaced whatever it was that told me the card limits for package 6.

Is the card limit 30 cards total or 30 cards of each type?

I’ve been playing that it is 30 cards total, but I saw in another post where someone said it was 30 of each type. And now i can’t check for myself because I can’t find the card

I love Detroit-Cleveland and recently enjoyed playing Downforce. It's obviously a nicer production and the special driver powers are a cool addition. I didn't really see how the betting fit in thematically though. Does it? Or is it just a catch up mechanic?

30 of each type.

Minor spoiler police:- Need help with Package 6 would be a better subject :)

[o]The card limit is thirty of each type. This is in the rule book where you added the free action Inoculate on page 11.[/o]

You’re car owners auctioning, racing and betting and not just the drivers of the cars (otherwise how would you have two?).

Kevin, Ray, Greg - thanks all!

With this knowledge, I'll talk it over with my group. Spoiler-free, of course. You guys were a huge help!
