I just want to do things the right way. I believe technically Z-man games owns the tool, and I don't want to step on any toes by uploading it without their permission.

Unless standard practice is to upload such files, and only remove them if the developer complains? I really appreciate their work, and don't want to be a dick about it.

Actually I see that they have contact information on their webpage. I guess I'll just shoot them an email and see what they say.

I used this exact strategy in my solo playthrough (list of cities with vertical line after epidemics). It works well!

I actually did this in Season 1 and was concerned I was cheating. However, Season 2 specifically says in the rule book that you are allowed to take whatever notes you want.

[o]Can you do 2 searches in the Buenos Aires card or only one? I have to choose which one? (Sorry for my english).

[o]
You can do two searches - one on the land, and one at sea. It takes one action to do each search, and you can choose which one to do first.
[/o]

[o]Thanks for the quick answer! I need a requeriment to do a specific search? I mean, if I wanted to do "the search by the sea", I need to do something first?[/o]

[o]If you have the card in hand, and are in the city, you can do either search for one action, and then afterwards do the other search for another action. Nothing special about by the sea vs by land, with respect to the search action.[/o]

I'm pretty sure that outbreaks can spread to havens, is that correct?

When we played, we did something similar to that as well.

North America Spoilers: [o]Atlanta, for instance, has one Infection card. But we spent a Game End Upgrade to give it that Lockdown card to destroy it by discarding a city card. Because the area was completely clear, we knew that we never needed to supply it, and that it was a safe place to end a turn, provided the plague wasn't scary elsewhere. [/o]

Africa Spoilers: [o]When we made the Scientist, we did something similar. She would go to places that had 1 or 2 infection cards (especially places that were infested, so we never had to go to them in the first place). We didn't destroy the cards, but we took notes on what places were safe. [/o]

A classic pandemic strategy is:
Shuffle the stacks with one epidemiccard in each and when putting them on top of one another, turning the stacks 90 degrees. That way you always know if there is a change of drawing an epidemic card.
It could be done by card counting but this is much easier

Snowcrash (north Atlantic)
Atlantis (south Atlantic)
Palma (Mediterranean, in the real world it's the capital of Mallorca)

Definitely! There's been more than a few haunts where we've found the haunt rules to be confusing or have outright omissions. They usually weren't fringe cases either. Lucky, most issues had already been discussed here. However, it's a bit of a pain to keep coming back to sort things out. We really do need to make a users addendum.

We're doing the same thing ... the white board I was using was getting crowded, so I created a google sheets spreadsheet to keep track of it:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nz9-Zka2fLBGvSQfe-dg...

The "in play" column gets updated automatically, but you have to be careful when an epidemic comes up ... the "in play" column needs to be manually incremented by 1 sometimes (if 1 or more of those cards are already in play, but haven't been pulled since the last epidemic).

If you want to use this, you need to make a copy: "File -> Make a copy".

As stated above, the answer is yes.

Make sure you are clear on the difference between the terms "location,""city," and "haven." If text refers to a location, then it includes cities and havens. If a rule is limited to only cities or only havens then it will say so explicitly.

Hi everyone,

Forgot the glory value for a box 3 milestone, and the card has been torn to shreds:

[o]Could someone please tell me if the "Explore a tomb without taking damage" milestone is worth 3 or 4 glory? [/o]

Thanks!

The milestone is "From Darkness Unscathed" and you get 4 glory if you 'Take no damage exploring a tomb'. and then read entry 313.

Hope that helps. We don't destroy anything in our game; just remove it.

It does, thanks Jim. Probably smart not to destroy, but in a weird way, it is kind of fun to rip up game parts given the care I give to my "non-legacy" games!

I’ve had the same locking up issue on Android, but only when replaying the clues. It did this in our first game, with a new/clean install.

I also had the app lock up on iPhone 6, when trying to replay clues. I installed it a week or so ago, and we were trying it out tonight. Didnt realize there was the resume game feature, so if we encounter it again we'll try that.
