Tell you what, Fabio. You read through Full Thrust and I will happily answer any questions you may have. I've ran the game several times at conventions with all kinds of gamers and feel confident I can help you.Remember, the game is about large (scout ships up to starbases) ships, not fighters. There are fighters (boy can they cause havoc!), but they are just another weapon in a ship's arsenal.
The first thing you should do, though, is find their Lite rules (they're on their site). Reading through them will give you the basics without blowing your mind with some of the more advanced concepts. Use your SD fighters as proxies while reading the rules. Push them around the table while trying out what you just read. It's like your own 'how to' video!
For everyone else, the rules are free on the Ground Zero Games website, as are their micro-10mm (Dirtside II) and 15-28mm (Stargrunt II) ground combat rules. The coolest part about them is that they all can integrate with each other. Again, there are factions in their universe, but there are also unit generation rules that are generic and robust.
