OK. I know I've asked a related question before, but my group REALLY doesn't want to win by misinterpreting rules. So here goes.Adjacent: I get that if you can legally move there, it's adjacent.
But let's consider the Season 1 Episode 1 map - Blasphemous Alchemy.
With the Marksman skill (level 1), I can target a unit 1 space away.
So, if I'm standing in the long hallway on the left (with the stairs), I can shoot down the stairs into the corner room with the fire token in the lower right corner.
Basically, I could stand at one end of the hall, shoot at the stairs, the bullet would go downstairs, and hit something in the same room around the corner.
Is that right?
Assuming that's correct, if I had the level 3 Marksman skill (2 spaces away), I could take the same shot, but hit something in the long room connected to the corner room downstairs, right? So, I could be staring upstairs where the yellow Gate is, and hit something downstairs where the red cultist or Gate is. Is that right?
Ok. Then what about The Kid? The Gate Mastery skill indicates that monsters and cultists summoned to a Gate in her area take damage equal to half their health. That seems straightforward, but... is it half their starting health, or half their remaining health? And her 2nd level skill in Gate Manipulation lets her do this is she's adjacent to a Gate? So, same map, and she could be downstairs, adjacent to the room with the yellow Gate upstairs, and monsters and cultists would be impacted?
