Blowgun Idea... Who says you have to shoot something from your mouth?

A good gust of air through a bamboo straw could knock an adventurer down, (without fear of lawsuits from consumers).

Or... you could still shoot a small plastic marble through a tube at an adventurer on the board. Just make sure the end of the tube that goes into the player's mouth is smaller than the marble, so it can't accidentally go into their mouth.

Think spitwads through a straw from high school, except with a thicker straw (just as narrow, though) and a tiny plastic marble instead of a tiny wad of paper. :)

Good catch. We took those out. They didn't quite hit the mark for play.

The main map appears to have "spaces" where the adventurers stand, and which are counted when performing movement. I'm not seeing any defined "spaces" (except maybe on the ladders) of the pirate ship. Where do the pawns stand and how does movement work?

This is an early render to show off the general structure. The final piece will have defined spaces. Movement works the same way.

A tiny plastic marble ... right in someone's eye.

The "air" gun isn't a bad idea. Though I'd be nervous about people getting spit all over the board.

How about a turkey baster? No muss no fuss (no spit)

The little soldiers got 59 of 60. I do have the newer version too so I may borrow from that I guess.

I'm sorry, I know it is probably right under my nose but when is the KS going live (exact date)?

I think we found another bug. Our family just played coop mode. The first Clue, footsteps, told us the gang were in the museum of antiquities. I then pushed the "back" button, and then "resume game". It turns out that the resume game moved the gang several places away into Swinnertons, we were really confused until we got a secret clue, and still then couldn't figure out what had happened. Watching the replay at the end, the first position was 332 and the second was 265, clearly pushing "back" then "resume game" messed something up.

Apparently my Android app is up to date, it's version 1.1.0.

By the Numbers - The RockyMountainNavy Collection: Customizable Games

As of March 22, 2018 I own 616 games. But just how "good" of a collection is that? Playing around with the Advanced Search function on BoardGameGeek, I looked at the top 100 games in eight categories - Abstract, Children's, Customizable, Family, Party, Strategy, Thematic, Wargames, and Overall. For each category I looked at how many I own and what I think it tells me about myself as a gamer. (Rankings are as of March 22, 2018)

CUSTOMIZABLE (6%)
4. Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game – The Force Awakens Core Set
5. Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game
21. Magic: The Gathering
23. Heroscape Master Set: Rise of the Valkyrie
57. Star Wars Miniatures
88. HeroClix

Personally, a category I could do without. The X-Wing games are manual video games. Magic: The Gathering is actually my middle son's thing but he really is a collector not a player. The last three are not played anymore but the figures are pirated for other purposes. I mean, with the rise of Fantasy Flight GamesStar Wars: Imperial Assault who plays the older games anymore?

I actually played as the traitor and managed to win. I can see how it would be difficult for the traitor to win on a small map and with the right characters playing, but I played in what could be considered a fairly average layout. Typically before the betrayal my friends try to explore as much as possible... They had all the right characters and all the pieces necessary, but I was able to attack them strategically to stop them from fulfilling their goals. Very tense game, 1 more round and they might have won.

[o]We got pretty lucky and drew the necessary Red Cards in the first couple turns. Actually, black was a limiting factor before Red was, but we got pretty lucky.

There ARE ways to increase the RNG in your favor. You can start to inoculate a bunch of non-red cards. You can inoculate some Red cards in the first half of December, give someone Rehab Nurse, and pass them to the carrier that way. You can use the Sanitation Officer so that you can re-use the Red cards. These were all ideas we had, though we didn't use any of them and just got lucky (which sounds discouraging, but we were bad at Inoculating player cards, didn't have the setup to use rehab nurse, and decided that being able to throw Bunkers down was more important that the ability to re-use Red cards, which it actually was.)[/o]

So we just finished December, and I realized that we had some Hollow Men Gather cards that we never ended up using. At the end of the game, we had seven Hollow Men Gather cards in the deck, but there were like four extras from one of the packages that we opened up earlier. Did we miss a point where we were supposed to put them into the deck? Because when we opened those first extra cards, I don't remember seeing any prompt to add them to the deck, so we didn't. Did we screw up?

You don't "add them to the deck."

You put all of them in the Infection Discard Pile. After your first Epidemic, you shuffle the Hollow Men Gather with those discards and then you resolve them when you draw them.

You missed something.

No, no, I think you misunderstood me.

We had the Hollow Men Gather cards in the discard at the start of each game and shuffled them into the deck for each Epidemic, but by the end of December, there were only... what, seven or eight we had in play? And we still had like four that we opened from an earlier package? Did we miss adding those in somewhere?

Yeah, I think you missed something. Unless *we* were mistaken, every time the game gives you Hollow Men Gather cards you use them immediately.

Yeah, I think I may have found the card in question and it did say to add the Hollow Men Gather cards to the deck. Must have misread it. That was around the time we got information that more Hollow Men would come out in November, so we just assumed we'd be adding those cards then.

TBH, I'm not sure it shifted the difficulty much anyways. Not sure there's a big difference between the horde of gather cards at the end, especially when they start stacking on top of each other. Losing cubes is possibly worse at that point given how few you have. I guess more Hollow men do make it more difficult to move around. Eh, whatever. The difference was probably minimal.
