Folks, one question -
[o]"Access a lost haven" - what does it mean exactly? Does connecting the lost haven to the network means it is already accessed? Or you have to visit it first? We have different opinions in our group what does it mean exactly, so I'd like Your help on that[/o]

[o]When you locate a haven, you should receive instructions on what you have to do to count as "accessing" it.
[o]Specifically, the map sticker with the lost haven on it should say something like "when you move to this haven, access it and open XXX"[/o][/o]

Regarding the original question, my thought would be that
[o]you "access" the haven every time you move to it, not just the first time, and so if you move to a non-starting haven at any point during your game in March, you fulfill that objective (and then destroy it at the end of that game).

But if you don't like that interpretation of "access", then I would agree with most posters that the objective would stick around until you access a different haven.[/o]

If A is quarantined but B outbreaks, A is still going to outbreak.

B outbreaks, removes Quarantine token from A and causes a chain reaction outbreak in C which will now cause a chain reaction outbreak in A.

This is the unfortunate reality that I thought would be the case. Thanks guys :)

Forgot a clarification for the "search the sea" block:
[o]Revealing this scratch-off does not mean you have "accessed" the haven, only located it. To "access" it, you need to move onto it.[/o]

Thanks, I presumed that was the case, but good to know for sure.

I will chime in and say that, if you have not already made the decision, that you should 100%...

[o]treat the haven as accessed and open Box 6.

You're talking about a single Drive/Ferry that you didn't do because you misread a rule, and that single action makes a HUGE difference in your next game, and it will turn it from bone-crushingly difficult to completely winnable. For the sake of your group's fun, you should open Box 6, and you absolutely will not hurt the integrity of the game. Since technically, you would not have been able to finish the previous game without actually moving to the haven.

If you don't open Box 6 before supplying the grid in your next game, you are arbitrarily making the game harder for yourself.[/o]

I'll also add that... completing that objective is even easier if you have already recon'd Europe...

[o]As soon as you discover the Haven from Lima it is connected to the grid and therefore anyone can move directly to the new haven from a supply center or other haven.[/o]

...so it's almost certain you'd have completed the last step if you hadn't missed the rule.

Fair enough. I ended buying a copy today anyway - Downforce just looks so much better than my aged copy of Detroit-Cleveland. Thanks for bringing such a nice production of Kramer’s system to market.

My bigger problem is with the text itself; it’s too small for my eyes. This is exasperated by the silver material not fully scratching off on the text.

Just played Haunt 4 and we eliminated the eggs but our haunt revealer was then killed by the spider. We decided that meant we no longer have to free them from the web, and just won by leaving the house. However, it feels like the traitor is almost encouraged to kill the revealer (because of all the hubbub surrounding them) once the eggs are gone...which only accelerates their own loss! Granted we had a full 6 players which makes it harder for the traitor already, and we lucked out by having the healing salve and medical kit. But still...seems like it's very skewed. Perhaps we should have still kept freeing the body as a condition?

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure. I think we didn't recon the middle east in time, so we got a card that said, "Scratch this if you haven't opened door ___ yet." Or something like that. The sticker was behind a door, but I vaguely remember that I got interrupted before I could finish doing everything else it said. I'll open door 2 and see if I can get on the right page again.

Thread: Pandemic Legacy: Season 2:: General:: Total amount of cards in game (some might it consider spoilers)

Hello.
Those who finished the game: how many cards are in the game box? I'm sleeving almost every game I own, and I'd like to get a rough idea how many packs to buy. Just for the shuffled cards, no need to sleeve objectives, turning points, etc.

Answer rounded up to next 50 is enough for me.
Thanks in advance.

Hey Jeremy - first of all, thanks for the answer. It's really helpful to have answers so quickly :)

That being said - I'm looking for exact wording on english stickers, cause the one in our language isn't specific enough. If I'd have to translate the phrase I would say it's something like that:
[o]"Name this haven and gain access to that haven. The first time you enter this haven, open cache #6"[/o]

And the wording on sticker refers to the first part of the phrase, so the objective is worded like:
[o]"Gain access to lost haven"[/o]

And I'm really confused - that's why I'm looking for exact original wording to find what it is all about. I'd appreciate someone looking for that on his board :)

I would think sleeving a legacy game is a bit of a waste, the cards are good quality and won't be worn by the time you've finished.

Also, in this case cards come in and out of play all the time.

Personally, I would suggest saving your money.

I'm sleeving the cards to make shuffling easier, not to preserve them.

If your just sleeving player cards and infection cards, 200 would be the number I would go for, 150 might be enough but I think 200 would be safer.

Thanks Sebastian, that really clears our case here :) The wording on polish version is bad with this :)
