i got another question for that scenario

when the traitor becomes a werewolf, does he count as monster? if yes, do i have to make a monster-movement roll?

and can i climb up the coal chute / collapsed room?

We got 754 Points in 17 games and won each month at least once.
We wissed out on the bonus points for destroying all military bases because there was no hint that that would be scored!

In the first game of december we found the stockpile and managed to vaccinate all but one faded city which we missed by exactly one action before the deck ran out when exactly that card was drawn on the final infection draw of the game.

So in the second december game all we had to do was walk over and vaccinate that city. It was done on the second player's first turn.

But we're gamers, right? If we're honest, we're having such experiences with games all the time. I take pictures of the end-state and throw them on Facebook. I could have them turned into posters, I suppose. Or I could photoshop them with my co-players' scribbles and then turn them into posters. But we don't generally do that because we'd rather spend the time having another great gaming experience, often with the same game which hasn't been destroyed in the process of playing it.

Any game in which I'd put 30 hours into with a group of friends on the same board, I'd be tempted to do that yeah. Same way people will preserve old RPG character sheets. We don't do it for single games as you've probably only invested a few hours into them.

Also, I'm sorry but I don't buy this whole "it's like blowing £60 on a meal out" argument. For one thing, to paraphrase what I said earlier, and I thought it was rather funny but nobody gave me credit, after a meal out I don't torch the restaurant and shoot my friends. Do you? :D

Because it doesn't make sense? You don't shoot your friends after playing Pandemic Legacy either. Not unless they fucked up really, really badly.

Unfortunately, Penny Arcade spoilered that, so people know to be careful.

We were playing a game with two players with the "Rival" relationship.

It is the Researchers turn. He discards down to seven, I take a card and discard two of my cards.

Can he then take one of those two cards if he can discard two cards?

What about if that gives him enough cards to discover a cure on a disease with the first two positive mutations. But he is out of actions.

Can he still cure the diseases if he has already drawn cards, and his actions are done?

We did the trades, but then waited until his next turn to cure. But in the meantime two more outbreaks and it was CLOSE.

Thanks.

I didn't see the answer to this in the huge awesome monthly FAQ thread.

[o]Red is my C0Da. Sydney is Faded. Say I have a quarantine in Los Angeles. If Sydney outbreaks, I know I remove the quarantine marker from LA instead of putting a Faded figure. But, does LA become a Faded city? The rule sticker says if a Faded city "outbreaks into" another city then that other city becomes Faded, so I wasn't sure if this was technically outbreaking into LA or not.

Is "outbreaking into" the act of putting a cube/figure as a result of an outbreak, or is it simply being linked to a city that had the triggering outbreak event?[/o]

[o]The rule boils down to: if a Faded figure is ever added to a city, it becomes a Faded city. The quarantine marker prevents LA from becoming Faded, since no figure was placed.[/o]

So I think this is truly the beauty of a game like Pandemic Legacy. For your situation, the military bases don't appear to have much value. However, in our game, the Ops guy and Quarantine lady are coworkers so we can hand cards to each other as long as one of us in the city. Ops also can cure adjacent diseases. So in one turn, I can establish a military base in current city, burn a coda card to move ANYWHERE on the map to either remove cubes from urgent areas and/or move to a city that the Quarantine specialist has in there hand to take that card from her, leaving the quarantine specialist to hang out in the area where coda is and but out two quarantines every one of her turns.

Our very specific choices of what upgrades and relationships have made the military bases crucial to us. But completely useless to you in whatever situation you've created with your upgrades and relationships. I have not talked to two people who have handled the game identically.

https://cf.geekdo-images.com/images/pic2773005_md.jpg
