I thought I'd kick off my first attempt at a fan expansion with a character who builds heavily on the precedent set by existing official melee fighters...Spartacus! (really this could be any gladiator, but I'm going with name recognition
)My aim here is a cross between Arthur & Sinbad. I really want to focus on Spartacus fighting in the Dimachaerus gladiatorial style of using double blades for combat...for both attack & defense.
I'm using the incredible Unmatched Maker: deck editor for Unmatched.
This is a work in progress. Feedback welcome!
Starting off with a few ideas:
The special represents striking with both swords. Is having a full second attack too powerful? Should the value of the second attack be set (2 for example) rather than playing a card? Must it be on the same target?
Win the crowd is pretty straightforward.
For Dimachaerus I'm emphasizing that the double swords can be offensive and defensive, thus the high A/D value.
Killing Blow is obviously Spartacus' Excalibur.
