We really enjoyed the game, but the very conclusion of our game came to a screeching, uncertain hault that wasn't much fun.I delved into Hell and stabbed Fenrir. I read the result. There was no rules text. We even glanced at the other, unsuccessful result and its only rules text was about destroying a card. There was a sense of finality to the passage, but nothing conclusive. Just red flavor text.
The Legacy deck said "flip this over when the game ends." Had the game just ended? Nothing we could find in the myriad of cards revealed for this haunt actually claimed confronting Fenrir ended the game. What if we kept playing and all the Thralls showing up revealed the real end condition? We ended up playing about one more turn, having someone turn traitor, before I contacted someone else who had finished it in a chat and they said it was fine to treat the game as over once Fenrir was confronted.
I think those final two passages desperately need a "The game is over." black rules text at their end. Maybe everyone else is willing to leap to the conclusion necessary and we're the only group that will ever be got by this rules snag, but at least one group would have benefited from the clarity.
