Each attack is a single set of dice rolls and comparisons, and every attack is completely independent. While it makes narrative sense to talk about a single attack between my 20 guys and your 15 guys that dragged out over 12 rolls, those were really 12 completely separate attacks. Most attacks do not actually include conquest (the defender will still have troops there), and I could have done any number of other attacks or expands interspersed with those rolls.↧
