Seafallers,Love the game despite its warts. Much of my appreciation for the game stems from the dedicated individuals in this forum, of which I often am a contributor, who help players maximize their enjoyment of this game. That said, I was hoping I could get some help here. I've googled and searched and I am trying to avoid spoilers so I am going to ask even though I might be able to find these answers somewhere.
Question 1
[o]Tortosa. The temple was raided and is now part of the structure pool.
Now the colony (island) has to be conquered. NRBH but I think I recall it being a dangerous site needing 10 or 12 successes to conquer. I believe to successfully raid the temple resulted in only 1 permanent enmity on the island despite the number of successes needed to raid it. I also believe that this does not also hold true for the colony, meaning that 10 successes are needed, leading to the placement of 10 permanent enmity? Do I have this right?
If so, since no one has more than 8 enmity tokens, something has yet to happen in this game in order for this to be possible?[/o]
Question 2
[o]Relating to the previous question, when the colony of Tortosa is conquered, The Fall of Society will occur. That sounds like a big deal yet there is apparently no Captain's Booke passage associated with this "fall". Did I miss something, or is this yet be be revealed?[/o]
Question 3
[o]I asked the question before about discovering the secret of the statues.
Right now, I have no idea how to do that. The answers were that the way to discover the secrets will be obvious when revealed. I still have no idea. Just be patient, I guess?[/o]
Question 4
[o]Negative reviews about this game have included the "slog" that occurs waiting for the island at the end of the world to be discovered and that they couldn't wait for the game to be over. Is this the "slog" that has been foretold? Because all we really can do now is explore still unexplored spaces and try and find the remaining islands. It is still interesting to our group so, if this is the "slog", then I am ok with it. This might not actually be a question that can be answered ... I am just musing. [/o]
Thanks for the help!
