I've played 9 games so far with the first being the 2 players per team game rules which I didn't care for. but appreciate they included the rules.

I started with Full Last Adventurer (I tried the L Adv player power T-shirts once though), Full Tiger & Bees and Treasure Trove Souvenirs incl Hangry and all but no Injuries yet. It's nice they include those card options.

I actually have to play it sans the expansions to experience what players would if they had nothing but the base game. I have no doubt it's the only time I'd play it as such. I always like expansions anyway. These are themed very well and fit in nicely.

Yes the Ants in the Pants Tiger (looks cool) is hard to use at first. I flipped him 3 times per attempt for a couple games to get a feel for him. He's sturdier plastic than thinner flexible ants in the pants. I bullseye the Heart of V-K once lol another time I used V-K as a backboard to knock down the ladder. You don't always have to bullseye. You flip him so he tumbles on the board and may hit or trigger stuff or even shake the board enough. A low trajectory can work better than a high one imho so it is not easy but I like that element in the game. An angle instead of straight on can work. But yeah if that's a player's idea of fiddly and not fun especially playing with first timers who haven't practiced then yeah use it for effect once and a laugh then leave his launch cards out imho.

The bees I pour down in three pours of the same cup. in other words the full 10 marbles but not all at once otherwise some fall over v-K or off the board. I pour a little, see where they fall, pour a little more and then the last of them so basically in thirds by feel.

That's good to hear from Justin about the snakes. Maybe that should be a separate thread post(?) the tree on Viper pass fireflash chute test one's patience. the art is off register from the dimples on mine so I have to place them by feel. it's a game in itself like jenga or something. the markers where to place the snakes are very small and hard to find until you play the game a few times wether you look at the rules sheet or not. the snakes get knocked over often but I have no problems using them otherwise so far. But yes i did think about leaving them out but the idea and the way they look is too cool and Indy Jones 'I hate snakes' hematic.

I haven't taken any cards out yet. But they do have to be shuffled well after a game imho

I do like the card stock.

I don't have Crimson Cutlass. I like pirate games. maybe later.

I houserule to change it up but won't go into that here just to say I do it and the game design allows 'playing' with it.
