Anyways, my version is gonna be kinda simple. Just the board and the rules concerning the way day/night connections work.

Short version: The planet has 4 zones. 2 of these are the night side, 2 are the day side. At the beginning of each round it rotates and the day/night zones change. When attacking a territory in a night zone you have to attack it along a night route (marked with a black line). The same is true for territories in the day zone.

Attacking a day zone territory from a night zone has special rules. You can only do it if the connection between the two territories is both a day and night connection. This type of connection is a white line next to a black line.

Since there is no water, I'm thinking about adding special rules for the naval and space commanders.

The idea is that a naval commander allows the force that he is part of to attack across a day/night boundry using a night-only link.

The space commander would do the same for day-only routes.

So? any thoughts? I'd love to see some feedback here. :D
