So what actually make this game better IYO? We disagree of course but everybody has their own tastes. I just don't get what case you're actually making. In other words, what specifically is better about this game and why?

Hey Moshe, thanks for your comment! I think that the three biggest reasons why I like 2210 A.D. better are the (in my opinion) improved map, bid for turn order, and five turn limit. I feel like the original Risk map favors defensive gameplay too much, and often the winner is the third player who sits in their sandbagged continent until the other two players eventually attack each other. The map in Risk 2210 A.D. however, makes it virtually impossible to hold an entire continent for longer than a turn or two. I also like the bid for turn order because I think that it adds a fun bluffing element to the game and makes things less predictable without making them substantially more random. The five turn limit encourages aggressive play as well, which I feel is almost always a good thing. Finally, I really love how the theme comes through in this game; the coolness factor is through the roof. Like you say, however, everyone has their own taste and I can see how some people could prefer classic Risk.
In answer to the Whether Man, I have never played Godstorm so I couldn't say :)
