The rules are definitely unclear on this; the traitor can pull heroes back into the house from the Entrance Hall, so I'd say the point about the door being blocked is meaningless. You could argue that both sides - the traitor automatically breaks down the door after killing two heroes, or that the traitor has to roll to open the door - are equally valid, and I'm not entirely sure how I would handle this.As for the fire spreading, I'd say that since the book says the fire spreads to one room at a time, they only mentioned the Grand Staircase and Entrance Hall specifically to remind the heroes that they are adjacent to the Foyer, but that they aren't the only valid targets for fire, and that they don't *have* to be burned immediately.
