The multiple erratas that exist for that haunt all clarify the shadows' movement in several different ways. I've never played that haunt, but the most reasonable, to me, is that doorways should be ignored when counting moves. There's still space on the wall above the door - typical doors don't usually reach all the way to the ceiling, and the shadows could just cross that space like it would cross a non-door wall. Moving through a door into the next room would still cost one move, of course, and they'd end up on the wall with the door - which side exactly shouldn't matter.↧
