Aside from that, I'd like to let people get some mileage out of passing the Crystal Ball around, but since it's actively invoking the Ball as some sort of attack, I'd have to agree that everyone clustering around it is in "Use the Spear, pass it on" territory.

(Mental image: everyone standing in a circle around the target, receiving the Spear, stabbing, and flipping it to the next person.)

[Edit: On further thought, having the Ball when attacked by a Twin seems like it shouldn't count as a use. If it does, then the Evil Twins can stunlock the Ball. Invoking it to attack a Twin should.]

I agree entirely. Having the Crystal Ball while you attack a Twin should definitely count as using it. However, you don't "use" the Spear when defending, so I'm not sure where the line is drawn for the Crystal Ball's protection when defending. I've never played this Haunt personally, so I might not be much help either way.
