I have been the host of a 3 player game. We have had a blast. If it makes you feel any better, I believe we had all the content open (except DNOE) by game 11. We did allow extra winner rewards for a couple of games, but saw that was actually speeding the game up too much. In other words, making areas too powerful, getting cities planted too quickly, etc. We will probably finish the initial 15 games next session, and we honestly don't think we have missed out on anything. In fact, there are already rumblings of colonizing another new earth...We opened DNOE after game 13 so it would be in effect for our expected last session.
