I like the idea of this thread remaining the go-to source for a compilation of known upcoming info.In light of that: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/3465354/blackbeard this thread confirms that Loki and Blackbeard were two of the runners up.
Also, we now know that Hamlet was the "at least one from that list", though that doesn't exclude the possibility there were more.
