On a very recent game, after killing the Stage III of Tsathoggua, my top attacker with Arcane Mastery + Marksman was nearly at the top of his insanity track and so chose to sacrifice himself to avoid flooding the other Investigators with fatigue tokens. The next Investigator had the strong combo of Strength + Deception, which proved to be better at rearranging the enemies than Stealth + Swiftness but managed to get herself killed by the Dhole. Then came the Stealth + Swiftness Investigator; that section of the board had been just cleared of monsters and cultists by my top attacker, so she did not need Stealth, but with Swiftness she had a free run action and arrived at Tsathoggua with 3 actions left. Her attacks were each individually feeble, but those 3 together added up to 8 wounds! The final Investigator had Arcane Mastery + Prowess which is a superb dice rearranger and his very first attack dealt 6 wounds! Game Over! A Win! Overkill by 2!↧
