Yeh I can say for a fact that just generic paper clips TOTALLY scratch the cards if you're not careful. Its not the end of the world or anything but def noticable!
Still, the black orignal clips were crappy out of the box and we needed a quick fix so the paper clips were what we had to do at the time.
I do like that character card idea tho! =)
