Thread: Cthulhu: Death May Die:: Rules:: Yog Sothoth gates and enemy summoning and some other general questions

Hi,

I played a couple of games with the base version, but now had my first play with Yog as Elder One.

I´m a bit unsure about some of the elements Yog brings into play:

Eg. his stage 1 effect says:
"When an enemy is summoned at a normal gate, summon another of same type at EACH same-colored Yog Gate"

does this happen really EVERY Time a mythos card or any other effect would summon an enemy?
Also if Yog Stage2 is revealed it says :
WHEN REVEALED: Summon 1 Cultist at each normal gate ... does that in combination with Stage1 effect would also summon a cultist to each according Yog Gates?

Also Wilburs stat card says: "when destroyed, place a random Gate token in his space" - now there are some effects (like on Mythos cards) that move and destroy Wilbur, but does "destroy" in this case also means killed? So if an investigator kills Wilbur, you need to place a Yog Gate?


Unrelated to Yog:
Also tried some investigators from expansions I do not own in TTS - eg. Walter Bagget from Unspeakable Box.
His unique ability is "Pacifist": when you attack but don´t destroy an enemy you may push it 1 space away (btw, as also here the term "destroy" is used, guess that answers the question about Wilbur xD)
I assume this also works with his Marksman skill, so he can attack an enemy 1 space away (at level 3 2 spaces) and if he doesn´t kill the enemy, he can push it even 1 space further away (so enemy is 2 spaces away from him)?
And I guess 1 space awayin this case doesn´t have to be "in shooting direction"? As there´s no real LoS in that game?
So if enemy is in a room with 4 other rooms connected, in 1 of that other room is Walter if he attacks/doesn´t kill enemy he can push him into any of the 3 other rooms?

What about tunnels? according to game they count as adjacant to each other so Walter can shoot (well any other char with Marksman) /push enemies through/into tunnels?


And the very last question, also general - in that game with Walter I got several items giving me 2 green dice for attacks (with some conditions, like having Marksman, 2 enemies in room,etc), together with levelled up marksman, extra dice from sanity level it added up to 7 green dices - can this even happen or does that not stack, eg. 2 "weapon" items do not stack?
