Uh, i could kill for good smoky/peaty whiskys.
The fact is that the good ones are out of my budget.
Today, my best experience is a 16y.o. Lagavulin, a gift from a friend.
I have good memories of Cardhu and Connamara, too, even if they was not so old.

how much is that in Italy? In the shop I linked above, a 16y Lagavulin is only 46 euros, which I find is rather cheap (for a whisky in the range of 16-18 years).
Over 100 users of that site seem to agree with you, by the way: It's got really good ratings. Maybe one of my next purchases? It's got similar ratings to the 10yo Talisker I drank a while ago, and I liked that one. ;)
Usually, I let the other people in my round buy the smokey whiskys, though.
If you have a change try the 57north from Talisker, then the 10y old will never get your attention again...
The Talisker is a classic from Islay. "King o' Drinks" i.a. R.L.Stevenson... This one hits!
For the "non" Whisky Drinker on the league, you should start with something smooth like a Scottish "Dalwhinnie", this one you could drink as a starter.
