The kickstarter for season 3 and 4 will likely include reprints since season 2 was offered. That's expected to arrive in June~ last I heard.

I don't recall being able to add S2 as an add-on during the pledge manager. Don't think that's accurate information.

I've also missed this Aug 2023 printing... Hopefully they do another one soon.

As people have said they're both compatible both contain 6 different episodes, characters to play as, a set of insanities and 2 bosses. The only think you'll double up on from having both is the basic components (dice, tokens etc).

As others have said the original core (or season 1) is tried and tested (and very much loved). It's a great starting point and most people who like this game tend to pick up more content.
Fear of the unknown (season 3) does add an extra couple of modules that can mike it more difficult/easier and add variety so could also be a good place to start especially if you don't want to expand past one box.

Personally I'm looking forward to season 3 as an expansion to a game I already own and love.

Already covered in the rules. Slamming, point 2:
If one vehicle in the slam is LARGER than the other, the owner of the larger vehicle may ask for a single reroll of BOTH dice. [bgcolor=#ffff00]This is true even if the larger vehicle is inoperable[/bgcolor] or both vehicles are owned by the same player.

What Lee said, I'm all in and have been acquiring all the little bits I can find for the extra content.

True.

Also, they are standalone, but I believe that they can pretty much be seen as expansions to each other. Given the modular nature of the game, you may find it worth having both for the extra GOOs and scenarios to mix and match. (Obviously there's new investigators as well.)

@JudgementDave Are you sure they included new investigators? That's always been my biggest complaint, way too few investigators, way too many GOOs and scenarios. Hope they addressed this somehow. Thanks!

Gosh I don’t think it was very long after release that Widows Walk felt like an abandoned product. It wasn’t very long until 3rd edition was announced, and certainly by the time that first press release was out it was gone.

Just wanted to add that if you're eliminated (all of your cars are either inoperable or destroyed), you remove your cars from the board.

I’m guessing that’s sarcasm if you went all-in on the game. But just in case you only have the retail offerings and mean it:

Since season 3 is a standalone game, they’d have to include some investigators… Do you really think they’d include a repeat set (which would annoy owners of season 1)?

Have a look at the KS page and you’ll see 10 new investigators in the season 3 core, with 6 more in season 4, and a load in the KS exclusives box.

It looks like the Comic Book Plus Promos Vol 1 is available on Game Steward. It's a little pricey. Is this a reprint or did they find a stash somewhere?
It's expected at the end of April. Does anybody have an expected delivery of Vol 2?

Link here..

(Edited to add dates)

I would have to assume they found / bought a stash somewhere... if it was a reprint, surely CMON would have done a pre-order option for it

Hi, my group played through Betrayal Legacy last summer and this summer I'm trying to do an in real life session of betrayal, just a fun scavenger hunt thing, do any of you have good clear pictures or scans of the helm? I want to see if I can turn it into a temporary tattoo. (also i suppose just clear pictures of the crests could be useful. Thank YOU!

Where did you come across this? I can’t remember the last time I heard anything about this project.
