Thank you, kind sir. May it someday happen. It would be an honor and a pleasure to finally play the best game of all time with you.

Unless you are passing around the phone and trusting people to only select their player for making the bets, it is problematic making an app for all players. That is my guess on why it is one player scoring only. I ended up just laminating some printed out score sheets, and we just use dry erase markers.

Some people like it, some don’t. We’re working in an update that allows for all players to use one app. Some people like that; some people prefer not to pass their device around. Feel free to keep using the paper. It’s just a nice little freebie we decided to give the fans.

The current ruler selects an edict for the round. ✅

Starting with the player to the left of the ruler gets to decide if they want to chance being the sinner. ✅

So let's say they DO want to be the sinner, they get to lead that round, right???

And if they DO get to lead that round are they then the ruler for that round?

And if so, did that round count as the original ruler's (the who selected the edict) turn for being the ruler? (1 out of 3 times for the game).

And lastly, does that round, for the sinner, count as them being a ruler?

Who is the ruler the next round, then?

Thanks, in advance, for your reply.

When someone sins, they lead, but they do not become the ruler. After that hand, ruler passes to the left, so the sinner would become the ruler coincidentally because they are to the left.

How about a version that you don't need to pass around. Simply an app that replaces the score pad at the end of each round.

I have been kicking around changing the win amounts for the second and third bets.

The first bet would continue to have the same payouts 9M if the car on which you bet finished first, 6M (second), 3M (third), where the greatest reward attaches to the car accurately predicted to finish first.

I would weight the second bet to give a larger reward for correctly predicting the second place finisher. For the car selected for the second bet, you would win 3M if it finishes first, 6M if it finishes second, and 3M if it finishes third.

For the third bet, I would weight to give a larger reward for correctly predicting the third place finisher. For the car selected for the third bet, you would win 1M if it finishes first, 2M if it finishes second, and 3M if it finishes third.

Have not yet tried this in a game, but have only played the game 3 times, so far.

I am interested in any more developed version of this. I am a little confused about how to use the one posted above, but also we are in August so it needs to be expanded. After losing twice in a row (July) for the first time in both seasons, we want to have a better idea of what our probabilities are.

I can't say to much because of spoilers.

March and April are becoming almost infamous for being the hardest two months, so hang in there!

Minor Story Spoiler
[o]The story in the legacy deck is not just fluff, there are some clues in there.[/o]

Minor Mechanic Spoiler
[o]Brooker and other ways of manipulating the discard pile are very powerful, make sure you are following the rules when you add a new city to the grid.[/o]

Yep don't be afraid to do it! Much better to have won than have 8 unspoiled perfect cards at the end of December!

In the prologue we got that you must start in your home haven - no problem. Just about to start September and just realised characters were supposed to start every game from their home haven. We had been starting together on a Haven of our choice. On a scale of 1 to 10 how much of an advantage have we given ourselves? One being does not matter, 10 being on a par with the Aussie ball tampering scandal (only works if you follow cricket).

Potentially quite a lot early on, but once you get [o]Europe opened and with it shuttle flights between Havens and Supply Centres, very little.[/o]

But it's also worth bearing in mind for [o]the extra characters you can pick up later in the game, who can start at newer Havens, and for the special characters, they MUST start on their home city, which is only on the haven/supply air network if you build a supply centre there.[/o]

Mild to Moderate. It depends a little on which characters you were using. (The rulebook says that you might find additional characters so I'm not going to spoiler block that fact.) One of our frequently used characters started in a semi-inconvenient location. So he, for several months anyway, would usually lose 2-3 actions of his first turn to drive/ferry actions, effectively losing half a turn.

Vague spoiler for Europe recon
[o]Obviously once you get more mobility, anyone who starts in a haven is effectively one move away from any other haven, so from that point on it's not that big of a deal for anyone who starts in a haven.[/o]

Regardless, I'd follow the advice of the game and just move on. If everyone on the team saved an action or two, that's about a free turn. That's a measurable advantage but not enough that I'd do anything other than do it correctly from now on.

Make permanent buildings in the cities that you have to recon (e.g. London). That way you should be able to recon there the next month.

We did one like that. Maybe we'll make another. Thanks!

I'm sure all these good suggestions, and the encouragement to keep on, will help this weekend when we go at it again.

Si mira en la pagina del juego, verá una sección para "files" (archivos). En el derecho puede elegir la lengua, lo cambia a "Spanish". Cuatro archivos se mostrará, incluyendo las reglas.

What will be the posts this week from Restoration? Will it be more information about the KS and stretch Goals? We are at t-minus 8 days till launch. Looking forward to seeing everything they have ready for KS and anything that they haven't shown yet. I'd really like to see what the fully painted island looks like.

Certainly sounds interesting.

We've played 4 times so far and the last three games were a matter of all players betting on the leader car 3x, using their cards to push the leader car, and then the leader car wins, everyone's bets are identical, and the player with the leader car wins (except for the last game where a placing car was won with a tiny bet).

Eventually the meta will shift to "Why am I helping this person win, they own the car and their bets will be the same... I will lose if I bet 3x on them and help them win?" but for now it's still everyone bet 3x on the leader and that player wins with the +12 for first place.

Thread: Pandemic Legacy: Season 2:: Rules:: [SPOILERS] Pandemic Legacy Season 2 rule question (June/July)

by Nielzo

Around June we were required to place a green 'rat' sticker on New York but we cannot recall or find why we were required to do that. Additionally, the 'hollow men' joined the game and we have the following two questions:

1: Do we place a green 'rat' sticker on a city immediately when the city is infected and a plague cube is placed? Or do you only place a 'rat' sticker once the population reaches 0 at the end of the month? Or is there a specific rule that we don't have yet? Currently we have no rule yet saying exactly when to place these stickers.

2: Do we place a green 'rat' sticker on a city at the moment it is occupied by a 'hollow men' figure? Or do hollow men have no influence on the infection of the city?

Thanks!
