I'm not sure what you're asking, but other than the cover art, both editions are exactly the same. (I've only played one.)
I have to admit that I genuinely don't understand that reply - whether you're trying to sew the seeds of doubt, and the possibility that the two may be different, or whether you're saying that they aren't.
There are at least four solid reasons for us to be able to say that the two versions are the same.
Firstly, and very strong, simply - "Matt says so". On Matt Leacock's webiste, in the FAQ, he states "There is no difference other than the cover and the cover of the rulebook. Really."
Secondly - even if he were deliberately lying, having finished the (Black) game, I've read a whole heap of threads on rules and other points with spoilers included, and at no point have I seen so much as a hint of anyone saying the equivalent of "Hang on... that wasn't like that in MY game...".
Thirdly - I simply don't see how it would be possible for the existence of differences to stay hidden within the community for this long. It didn't take long for the hidden "Do NOT open this, ever" package in Season 1 to become common knowledge; if there were substantive differences, we'd know, whether or not we'd played.
Fourthly, and as strong as the first one - there's a complete list of the components, including text, in a thread in the General forum (https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2131125/missing-game-compon...). Not possible if the two are different without referencing the two versions at some point, unless a difference were confined to the boards - in which case it would be glaringly obvious.
There's likely still a very tiny amount of wiggle room in there - but if I were a betting man (which I'm not) - I know where MY money would be.
