I just finished Chapter 11 and there was a [o]Side Goal (Swear an Oath to End Him) where we're supposed to put our family crests on the back of the helm and disrespect it as we do so.[/o]Why?
The actual haunt in question required 2 crests each, so was this goal referring to stickers instead?
Either way, what do they actually do? The crests have no bearing on the actual effects of the current haunt.
This is my second full playthrough of the legacy campaign, and I don't recall seeing any payoff last time either.
[o]I do know that a couple of other side goals end up paying off in the final haunt, I just don't recall (or see) any way that this particular Chapter 11 side goal will come up again.[/o]
So what's the point of doing this? If it matters later, when does it become relevant? I'd like to see it so I know I'm not missing something.
I'm literally leaving these little pieces of cardboard out on the table so that we can keep track of who placed them and when, in case it matters again down the road.
