Here's why we had a disagreement in our play group and what prompted this post. Up to this point in the campaign we have never seen the line of text "Does not have a Might attack." Other enemies will specifically state that they have a Sanity attack, or Speed attack. If the rules omitted "Does not have a Might attack" would that have actually changed the interpretation of how the lice work? The rest of the rules box is all about how on their turn they have this special attack.
And while I am always in favor of function over form, it doesn't make sense thematically that failing to attack the lice with Might, who don't have a Might attack because they are tiny flying pests, would cause Might damage back even though when they attack they "poison" you and turn you to stone.
I really appreciate the responses and discourse, I don't mean to dismiss what y'all are saying. It is literally in fact a parody of the discussion our playgroup had. I think at this point only an answer from Rob himself would leave me satisfied with a definite answer.
Cheers!
Completely agree. Either way, that line about not having a might attack added confusion and was poorly written. We played that they dealt no damage, and the traitor still won handily.
