Here on the penultimate day of the year, I came to thinking about the highlights of my year, which in proper League fashion I'll share with you...

-Emma stopped wearing diapers! I sure won't miss changing them, and getting rid of the changing table freed a lot of space in the bathroom.
-Emma stopped taking naps! No more planning every move of the day around getting her to bed around noon.
-Emma turned 3 and started kindergarten. A whole new world has opened to
her...

-I became an uncle. My sister had a daughter who got the name Olivia.

-I had issues with my workplace, which almost resulted in me quitting my work, but my colleagues and I pulled together, worked through our issues, and came out stronger and better together.
-I brought a 16 man strong (well, they were mostly 11-12 year old boys) samurai army to our monthly LARP session.

-I went to Essen, and had my first live meeting with a fellow Leaguer!
-and,after 6 years of waiting and hoping, I was finally able to buy a C&C Samurai game!

-I started playing Warmachine, which rekindled my love for miniature painting and terrain building.

-I finally quit chewing nicotine gum on the second anniversary of my quitting smoking.

-I started playing air soft/hardball. A whole new hobby for me, with a lot of cool new gear to spend too much money on...

-This here League of continually amazing and extraordinary Heroscapers strode proud and strong into it's fifth year of existence...

-No other major single events of family and friendship stand out, but I'm continually lucky and happy to have a lot of special people in my life...

Cheers all, and have a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Jesper
