1. Double-check the Secrets of Survival. Usually it will say if you have to make any special action (spend a movement, roll a trait test, etc.) to escape if escape is an option. Otherwise it sounds like you just have to get to the Entrance Hall. Bear in mind that I haven't looked at that Haunt since I don't think my group's played it yet and I try to avoid Traitor's Tome/Secrets of Survival spoilers.

2. "X uses a Might 4 attack" means they roll 4 dice. If there is no dice rolling, you will be told to just take # physical/mental/Sanity/etc. damage.

3. Unless something allows you to do otherwise, attacks use Might. The monsters have a Sanity stat in case a hero uses a Sanity attack against them (available from some Items and possibly Omens), or in case the monster was given a Sanity attack in their abilities (check the Traitor's Tome).

4. Whenever a game effect causes you to draw a card for any reason, your movement ends. You can still use other actions to finish out your turn.
