Step 1: Confirm you are playing the game correctly. Pandemic is a game that can swing wildly along the range of too easy to too hard if there are rules mistakes.Maybe you are well versed in Pandemic already, but it is worth mentioning.
Then, I would recommend playing 2 roles each, in my opinion it is just more fun to have 4 characters and the general consensus is that it is more difficult than having just 2 characters.
