My boyfriend named his family after his own (with himself as the final family member - he's gunning for the deed, that game), I initially named my family Kunchaka (after an Eskimo otter spirit), but renamed them Doyarchu, in a "related by marriage" thing (Doyarchu being the name of an Irish otter monster), and one of our friends named their family after Elizabeth Bathory. Can't remember the other two, but one of them makes sure their characters' ages are some whacked-out mathematical equation instead of a normal number.↧
