Thread: Betrayal at House on the Hill:: General:: Flaws of an exciting game

This is a marvelous, tense and exciting game with a major and some minor flaws.

Major flaw:
-It needs an official separate book, including all the numerous "what if(s)" that come up when each haunt begins.
For now, it's a "house rule fest"!

Minor flaws:
-Although the artwork of the tiles is quite nice, the artwork of the characters in my humble opinion is not good.

-Miniatures are badly painted.

-Also, the components are pretty much awfully constructed. Warped tiles, loose and too short pointers (there are times you can't be sure where they point) that do not stay where you want them but keep falling off.

Minor flaws as the game is still playable, but (to me) worthy of mentioning.

P.S. I posted it in the "general forum" and not in the "reviews", since you can't call, "me being grumpy about a game i actually like" a review.
