Hello all!I made the mistake of going to the restroom at the end of Chapter 5 and when I had returned my group had removed The Chasm from the Folio and applied the sticker to the blank tile provided in the game.
This seemed fairly logical, although no one seemed sure that they had been directed to do so, and in the setup for Chapter 6 (I believe) it said to place the Chasm next to the Basement landing. I say I believe because we have been keeping the cards as we play, and of course Prelude - Chapter 5 are all there and Chapter 6 setup is missing!
Now at the beginning of Chapter 7 there was no mention of the Chasm and the rule sticker for other worlds does not mention placing the Chasm, so we took the Legacy leap of faith and decided we would have been told to place it if we were supposed to. And since the back of the once-blank tile is...well..blank we decided it didn't make sense to have it in the to-be-discovered stack and so left it in the box.
And then Haunt 50 specifically calls out using the cards to entertain Jonah. Obviously we made the wrong choice, and since the basement was completely unexplored we just stuck the Chasm in =p.
What did we miss in setup rules for the Chasm?
