I love this game and rated it high. But if someone says he dislikes this game, I most likely will agree with his reasons. This game is Amerithrash, both at its best and worst. So if you like Amerithrash, you will rate it high. If you dislike Amerithrash, you will rate it low. But the latter may not be the case.

Personally: I dislike legacy games. I play with a changing group of people, so a fixed group is not my style. Also I am the type that sleeves cards and tries to keep his games in great condition. Now you want me to write on the game and even destroy parts of it. My core hurts from the thought alone. Both a good reasons to dislike these type of games. So I can go on these boards and give any legacy game one star and rightly so. But I won't.

First is rating games an effort. Why should I put effort into something negative. I would dislike becoming such an anti-legacy-fanatic. Also I won't play these games because I won't enjoy them. How can I rate a game that I have not played yet. But the best reason thy not, is that I like my ratings to be useful. Anyone considering a legacy game, knows what it is and can already make out if my gripes against the game, are valid for himself. I can better leave the rating to someone who is likely to appreciate the game and give it a fair chance. That person can really Judge the game for quality instead of genre.

It might be that a lot of people, that dislike Amerithrash, won't rate the game for similar reasons. So most people that love the genre will vote on it and the game is good in its genre.
