Thank you everyone, I have another question:
What exactly happens if a player draws two epidemic cards during their turn?

Also, what if I draw an epidemic card off the epidemic card (due to one or them being at the bottom of the deck)?

If you draw two Epidemic cards you do all 3 steps twice. This almost guarantees an outbreak on the subsequent infection draw unless you have a helpful event.

The card you draw from the bottom comes from the infection deck. The Epidemic cards are in the player deck.

Oh true, I figured when we played the first game, but thanks for clarifying!

Actually I have to say that the game's pace is great, the rules are clear, it's one of the most straightforward games that we have ever tried.

We played 6 games (basic rules out of Pandemic Legacy):

1st - we lost after about 10-15 minutes, even though I've watched some regular Pandemic videos and was guiding everyone.
2nd - we won it!! Felt pretty good and wanted to start the campaign, but I convinced everyone to get one more try.
3rd - lost due to an oversight, we didn't realize the Medic can 'take off' cubes with only movement if we've already discovered the cure for a particular infection. We were in very good shape, but we realized that only 2 games later!
4th - lost in like 25 minutes due to 2 epidemic in a row, pretty hard to counter that, at least for us beginners.
5th - I started to introduce them to the Legacy aspects, so we played this and the next game with 4 events (financial help), and we tried to eradicate as many diseases as possible if we were going to win. also, avoiding to stay in cities with possible breakouts. We won very easily this one, with only 2 outbreaks and 2 diseases eradicated. Felt pretty good, but decided to have one last try with basic rules.
6th - we probably took too much time thinking on how to eradicate and less time on actually fighting to get the cards right to be able to find a cure for all 4 diseases, but at the end we won on our very last turn.

edit: oh, and we realize at THE END of 6 games that the dispatcher can discard cards when moving other pawns, which we never did!
