Nice review of game, however my game has a different rule for ending the race. On page 4 is says "Play continues until all the cars have finished the race or no more cards can be played."
So as a car passes the finish line, it is removed from the track and placed on the winners podium, and the game continues. If some cars have not crossed the finish line, after all cards have been played, then those cars are not placed on the winners podium and do not earn prize-money for their owner.
Thanks for picking that up. I'm gone back to reflect on this change and amended the review accordingly.
Maybe your original off BGG review, but this one is still incorrect in terms of the game end condition as of today.
