Thanks for everyone who had already posted. I agree, they didn't playtest this one well. One obvious loophole: the ability to discard items as a ghost. I think you have two options: Either make the ghosts be unable to discard the items (clarify they cannot DISCARD, drop, trade or steal items, and any one-use items should be tapped to show they have been used). Also, in the instance where the traitor gets one of a ghost's items at the beginning of the Haunt, they should have to redraw and make the traitor steal a new item. Another option would be an alternate win condition when a ghost has nothing to steal, but I think fixing the ability to lose the item they get at the beginning of the Haunt solves any such issues.

Unlike everyone else, while I agree the traitor has a lot of power the ghosts should be motivated to find their own items to level the playing field. As we were getting systematically nerfed (I took it upon myself to seek out more stuff to balance the odds). As the last ghost, I found as much as I could, including the Angel Feather, Adrenaline Shot and The Cat. When the traitor attacked with a die roll of 7, I used all 3 successfully to drop a 14 on one die roll. One there was a chink in the armor and the tables were turned, he went down quickly.

It is definitely a longer haunt, one that requires strategically maneuvering the house. As the OP traitor, you're often too preoccupied with getting items from the ghosts to worry about improving other stats like speed. The ghosts have multiple attempts to whittle down the traitor, and once they've lost their item they should work to max sanity and attack. Also, looking for more stuff to improve your chances of winning while the traitor is busy chasing ghosts.

Overall not a bad haunt IF you make the one clarification and understand how to approach it from either side. Also, as the traitor it might help to not put ghosts to rest until you have all the items. One a ghost has been nerfed, the ghost team will figure out what's up and change strategy.
