1 - I am interested to hear the answer but I think it would make sense to keep the same head of household for the day/session - otherwise, there's more downtime while trying to parse out a vote.2 - The tokens and their carry over were confusing to me as well. So far, we only have the first token that is unveiled during the preface. It's currently assigned to family card #5 and I've written that down along with the player's real name just in case. If they don't show up, I'm assuming that family card #5 would still be used, but NOT the token?
3 - That's the way I understood it as well. Player A can be nominated by both Player B & C and escape. Player A can be re-nominated but only by two other players, NOT B & C. Fortunately, I didn't have that problem - any duplicate nominations were always on different days.
We played with 9 people and we didn't quite get thru chapter 1 and had two other questions, both relating to the Diary.
Chap 1 - Session 2
[o]The assumption is that the Mayor remains the mayor until further notice? The group I play with always votes for a new mayor when the current mayor dies.[/o]
Prelude
[o]Step 12 - I had to correct the wording of the right hand box "If the number of thumbs down votes is FEWER than or EQUAL to the number of players remaining in the session, continue with this column." The way it is worded it will always be the case. I had to change it to "FEWER than or EQUAL to half the number of players"
When I first read this, I had to stop and re-read multiple times to verify what I was reading. And this happened everytime I referred to it. Is my edit a correct interpretation?[/o]
They group had a great time and there was quite a sudden spike in worry, anxiety and anticipation (and fun!) when they realized they were altering the rules - and not knowing what was coming. [o]They also freaked out a little when they realized what Cerberus was doing the first time.[/o]
I'm looking forward to seeing what their reactions are to Chapter 1, Session 3 and the twists that are unveiled then.
