I've only just read the rules, haven't even played yet, but scifi struck me as a wonderful setting almost immediately. Alien was the first movie that popped to mind as it follows the Locked house them, has exploration and the "betrayal" happened pretty early. There are a bunch of other movies, games and books out there that could be mined for this. Plenty of people make print and play tiles. Characters would just have to be changed to be a bit more scifiy.
