I’m definitely no game designer here, but what if there was a bag of marbles that were all slightly different (weight, diameter, color, etc...) that players grabbed to shoot out. You may not be able to immediately tell the difference though each one is more likely to take one path or another. Randomizing the ball may be easier than designing a track that the same ball goes down differently each time.
