In my experience, the game gets worse over time. I think my personal rating for it dropped from about an 8/10 in the beginning to a 5/10 by the end.
We just finished game 14 .. We had a lull in the action between Boxes 4 and 5 that lasted TWO LONG BORING games due to the Thing that happens in Box 4 that required some whittling down.. So for us that was games 11 and 12 .. But now with the new Box opening we are all excited about it again..
So using the scale presented, I would say we started with the 8/10 and grumbled down to the 5/10, and are now back up to the 8/10 ..
The biggest thing that helps our group is that we are all experienced RPGers also.. so when something comes up unclear, we take everyone's opinion on how it should be done, and come to a group ruling on how it is to be handled, and stick to that from that point on.
