Having finished the game, I think our group's general feeling is that our playthrough ended up being slightly to moderately easier than our playthrough of season 1, with the caveat that decisions you make (including some early ones) can definitely swing that either way, and you can definitely get screwed by luck. I think I'm in agreement that this Season is more dependent on luck than Season 1, but I don't know that it's to the degree that others suggest - there are always ways to mitigate and prepare for it, and there were definitely some moments in Season 1 that were hugely swing-y based on how lucky you were.However, the stretch of March and April are absolutely BRUTAL, especially if you've made some "poor" decisions in the prior months. If you can get through those, and get certain things accomplished, you can put yourself in an excellent position. However, there are some things you can miss (either through luck or not paying attention or even setting the "wrong" priorities) that can definitely put you in a world of hurt.
