(Note: Due to the nature of the game, there may be spoilers for your game, even if you ARE in this month. You have been warned)"'Tis in ourselves that we are thus or thus. Our bodies are our gardens, to the which our wills are gardeners. So that if we will plant nettles or sow lettuce, set hyssop and weed up thyme, supply it with one gender of herbs or distract it with many—either to have it sterile with idleness, or manured with industry—why, the power and corrigible authority of this lies in our wills." - Iago, Othello, William Shakespeare

Our suicidal plan has somehow worked - we've gotten a number of Hollow Men to defect to our side and we have begun sharing secrets - as we talk more, I am sure that we consolidate our plan and be able to move into Utopia. Not much to report in the rest of the world - Victor has proved to be invaluable, killing off the plague carrying rats almost as soon as they showed up, and keeping our havens safe. We did finally visit Paris - the Engineer we found there makes me wish that we had investigated sooner. Ah well - I will settle for the gains we've made so far. I am nervous about the future, but I'm confident that we have the best possible people working on this.

Spoilers for this month's objectives
[o]So our plan is to get the Hollow Men to our Havens. We get a turning point to open a door if we have 3 on Havens at the end of the game. Our jaws drop, as this strikes us as suicidal. We get a new action - the ability to move Hollow Men around the board using Radio Towers, but still...[/o]

Continued Spoilers for the objective
[o]
Well, we get some Hollow Men close to Havens, but we're all a little sick at the idea of losing population there and taking exposure if we move through them, because there are no city cards for Havens to use to build shelters.
...except...
Victor is AWESOME
Victor, you beautiful man, you. His card explicitly says "location", not "city", so we take him so that we can plonk down shelters in our Havens, keeping them safe and usable.
[/o]
Unfortunately, after the realization above, the game got pretty trivial. We lose some cubes, have to prevent some supply cubes from being removed with [o]Topaz's[/o] ability, and we spoilers for above[o]shuttle around some Hollow Men[/o].
We search in Paris, and find a companion that really would have been useful much earlier.
Spoilers for Paris
[o]The Engineer lets you build a supply center for one less card. ...that would have been handy a time or two[/o]
We win in short order, fulfilling the turning point.

So let me start off by saying (a little smugly, if I'm honest), that our group "called" this twist in February, by looking at the character art. The new characters that joined us kept fulfilling our surety, and a few searches and bits of information more or less confirmed it. But...
The call is coming from inside the house!
We're the Faded! They exiled us and then we got to work helping the rest of humanity not lucky enough to go to Utopia. For that, we got the joy of Hollow Men doing their level best to undo what we've done. Ungrateful bastards.[/o]

Less severe spoilers below
[o]
We also get two awesome new city card improvements, which we waste no time in putting on cards at the end of the game.
[/o]
After we won, and got through all of that, we upped population in Denver (stupid Hollow Men!), added a permanent Radio Tower in Hong Kong, put two city card improvements out, and then made Joe Dirt a Navigator, completely filling him out with upgrades. And now, onto November...
Joe Dirt - Superhuman

We have a plan - we've got a two day window to strike. We're going in.
