My group got through only half of the campaign and then quit, and this point here is exactly why. After about 5 or 6 games, two of the five players were so far astoundingly ahead that the other three players were in near-impossible-to-win situations. No joke, there were leads of upwards to 40 or 50 Glory by the end of game 6.
But how could they be sure there was no way to catch up? If you quit halfway through a legacy campaign, you've no idea whether the next unlock could have turned the tide in your favour. You don't know whether the final reveal will tell you that all your glory points are irrelevant and here's how you actually win instead. I understand quitting because you're not enjoying the process of playing but quitting because you're losing...?
